The Green Restaurant

A refined Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of London where you experience dinner inside a wild garden of the 1800s revisited with modern eyes.
The chef confessed to us that one of his greatest wishes would be to have a restaurant in a botanical garden, where guests could be immersed in nature while the flavours of fresh Mediterranean cuisine explode in their mouths.
Since achieving all this in central London would not have been easy at all, we decided to create the illusion of being inside a natural garden, where human intervention is less present and where wild nature becomes a forest.
Reception Area
the Touch Studio collaborated with an Italian artist to realise a custom-made wallpaper for the walls where great pines are the main element in this Garden of Eden, and you can almost feel the scent of delicate flowers and the wind that caresses the leaves.
On arrival, the guests experience visual, culinary and aromatic notes that later form part of the chef’s creations and make up the spirit of every dish.
Bar
In the bar area, the colours and materials are warmer and closer to autumn nature.
The counter is in wood with a streaked pattern of alternating dark and light bands.
A bespoke brass chandelier inspired by the foliage on wet soil, feeds the imagination of being in an autumn garden and makes for a celebratory venue with a surreal edge.
Main dining area
The main dining area features semi-circular banquette seating, upholstered with deep olive green velvet, enclosed in a metal structure that recreates the architecture of a greenhouse. On the walls, the Garden of Eden wallpaper gives you the feeling of being immersed in a flourishing forest.
Natural colours and materials, such as reclaimed wood are used for the floor, and installed in a particular style which emphasizes the layout of the restaurant.
Table
The chairs from the Touch Studio Collection are inspired by the corolla of flowers. As if they were petals, the shell is made of natural leather. Inside the chair, the colours of the pistils explode into a supple fabric with a velvet touch.
Private Room
the Green Restaurant has three Private Rooms that pay homage to one of the most important species of the natural ecosystem: bees.
Bees are responsible for almost all of the pollination of all the living plant species on the planet and play a part in every aspect of the ecosystem, supporting the growth of trees, flowers, and plants.
We designed these private rooms like beehives, where the honeycomb structure of the screens in délabré stainless steel mesh, gives guests their privacy. The main focus is the modern bronze-coloured glass chandelier, which is part of the Touch Studio Collection.
